VR Watercraft

Master's Research project focusing on procedural soundscape in VR using Unreal Engine's MetaSounds

Role: Solo Developer

Tools: C++, Blueprints, MetaSounds, Unreal Engine 5.5, VR MetaQuest Pro

Focus: It specifically investigates whether procedural audio, which is dynamically modulated by real-time boat and water physics parameters, can produce convincing audio-tactile illusions of hydrodynamic forces during key navigational maneuvers, particularly during sharp turns and water collisions.

Focus: A vertical slice made in 2 weeks. A mobile game prototype that demonstrates the core loop and underlying systems. It focuses on clean system design, a satisfying gameplay feel, and a scalable architecture.

Laundry Cleaner - GDD

Laundry Cleaner

A base defense game where the player has to shoot laundry clothes to knock down enemies

Role: Game Designer

Tools: Unreal Engine 5.3, Google Docs

Focus: An isometric game created as part of a Spring-Cleaning Game Jam Contest. Collaborating with a team of three people to create a game demo.

D3D11 - PCG, Psychoacoustics

A horror game showcasing procedural level generation and psychoacoustic concepts such as attenuation, doppler effect, etc.

Role: Solo Developer

Tools: C++, D3D11, HLSL, FMOD, Visual Studio 2022

Focus: Used low-level Graphics API and psychoacoustics concepts such as doppler effect, pitch shift, fade, etc. Built on top of core Graphics concepts to create a procedurally generated game level in 3D space. Improved tessellation and added additional post-processing effects.

Networking - SFML

Networking with SFML

A LAN multiplayer game

Role: Solo Developer

Tools: C++, SFML, Clumsy, Visual Studio 2022

Focus: Created a local 2-player game using low-level SFML code. Used Client-Server architecture and TCP/IP protocol. Enhanced latency and lag issues using prediction modeling and extrapolation. Clumsy was used to test the network conditions.

Focus: Implemented core Graphics concepts such as heightmap, waves, post-processing effects, lights and shadows and tessellations using shaders to render a scene.
